Concrete Coating Care and Maintenance Guide

Simple care and cleaning habits that keep your epoxy, polyaspartic, or urethane-coated floors looking great for years.

The Basics

Dry cleaning (weekly or as needed)

  • Sweep with a soft broom or use a dust mop/microfiber pad.

  • In garages, a quick blow-out + sweep is great.

Wet cleaning (every 1–4 weeks depending on traffic)

  • Use warm water + a pH-neutral cleaner (or a small amount of mild dish soap).

  • Mop with a microfiber mop.

  • If you used soap, rinse once with clean water to prevent haze/film.

Avoid:

  • Vinegar-heavy mixes

  • Citrus/solvent cleaners

  • “Gritty” powdered cleaners
