Commercial Metallic Epoxy Floors That Make Your Space the Statement

Designer-grade metallic finishes for showrooms, retail, restaurants, and hospitality across Southern California

When the floor is part of your brand experience, off-the-shelf doesn't cut it. BOWBAR Epoxy Designs installs commercial metallic epoxy and concrete coating systems across the Inland Empire, Orange County, and San Diego County for businesses where atmosphere, durability, and visual impact all matter at once. We install epoxy floors that handle real-world traffic for:

  • auto dealerships

  • retail showrooms

  • warehouses

  • offices

  • restaurants

  • breweries

  • hotels

  • lobbies

  • other high-end service businesses

We are family-owned, California-licensed (CA #1093174) and provide 10-year written warranties for most installations. We work nights and weekends to keep your business open whenever possible.

Where Commercial Metallic Epoxy Floors Work Best

Metallic epoxy is the right choice for commercial spaces where appearance matters as much as durability, high-traffic floors that need to look professional, hold up under daily use, and reflect the standard of the business inside them.

Auto dealerships and showrooms

A metallic epoxy floor  complements what's on display rather than competing with it. Custom metallic blends matched to your brand palette, with installation planned to minimize downtime whenever possible.

Retail and high-end boutiques

Custom metallic epoxy flooring creates a distinctive, designer-grade finish for retail and boutique spaces. Color-matched to your interior design or brand, seamlessly installed, and built to maintain its appearance through years of foot traffic.

Restaurants, breweries, and bars

Slip-resistant metallic epoxy flooring systems for dining floors, bar areas, and entryways. Our food-service installs use sealed, sanitary topcoats that pass health inspection and clean up with standard restaurant-grade cleaners.

Hotels, lobbies, and event venues

Custom metallic epoxy flooring for hotel lobbies, entrance areas, and event venues — a seamless, color-matched finish that anchors the visual identity of the space and stands up to years of high-traffic use.

Office and tech-company spaces

Custom metallic epoxy flooring for modern offices and creative studios. A contemporary, color-matched finish that brings the same design intentionality to the floor as the brand itself, with durability that holds up under years of daily traffic.

Specialty retail (cannabis, jewelry, luxury goods)

Custom metallic epoxy flooring for specialty retail environments including cannabis dispensaries, jewelry showrooms, and luxury goods stores. These spaces demand both aesthetic precision and operational performance.

Our Multi-Layer Commercial Metallic Epoxy Floor System

Every BOWBAR commercial metallic install includes:

  1. Site assessment and scope walkthrough:  We evaluate the slab, traffic patterns, your operational schedule, and any compliance requirements

  2. Full mechanical diamond grinding: CSP 2-3 profile across the full project area; we use HEPA-filtered dust collection so your tenants or neighbors aren't impacted

  3. Moisture testing and moisture-barrier primer: Non-negotiable on commercial slabs, especially in older Inland Empire industrial properties

  4. Crack repair, joint detail, cove base: Whatever the build requires; commercial concrete almost always needs at least crack repair

  5. Custom-blended metallic basecoat: Color matched to your brand or interior design; we'll work with your designer if you have one

  6. Polyaspartic or urethane topcoat with anti-slip additive, where needed:  Finished in matte, satin, or high gloss

  7. Final inspection and warranty registration: 10-year warranty paperwork delivered to you and on file with our office

How Much Do Commercial Metallic Epoxy Floors Cost?

Commercial metallic systems in Southern California typically run $10 to $20 per square foot, with the range driven by square footage, slab condition, build thickness, color complexity, schedule constraints, specialty requirements.

Where you land within the range depends on:

  • Square footage — larger projects almost always cost less per square foot

  • Slab condition — older industrial slabs need more prep

  • Color complexity — single blend vs multi-color zoning vs logo work

  • Schedule constraints — night and weekend work is sometimes premium-priced

  • Specialty requirements — anti-slip rating, anti-static, USDA compliance, etc.

We know you'll see lower numbers advertised elsewhere

DIY kits or quick-install services at the bottom of the professional range. Those systems typically skip the steps that determine whether a floor lasts one year or fifteen:

  • Mechanical diamond grinding of every square inch of concrete

  • Crack and chip repair

  • Moisture-barrier primer

  • Application skill and technique

  • Polyaspartic or Urethane topcoat

  • Commercial-grade epoxy, polyaspartic, and urethane coating systems

The removal and redo cost when one of those floors fails adds another $6–$10 per square foot on top of the original costs. We provide free on-site estimates with exact pricing — no generic online quotes that change the day we arrive.
